Yagi Antenna Element Bracket – WB8WFK
Jerry Boyd WB8WFK designed this Yagi antenna element bracket to slip over a 1/2-inch PVC pipe. The bracket design supports two different types of Yagi antenna element:
- The curvature of the outer surface is ideal for attaching a standard 3/4-inch width steel measuring tape element. Hose clamps or cable ties can be used to hold the element to the bracket.
- The hole through the center can accommodate an element made from a 1/8-inch fiberglass rod covered by a tinned copper braid with heat-shrink tubing on top. The holes on the sides are the right size for a 6-32 threaded insert. A screw can then be used to retain the element. The slot coming down from the top can be used for a shim to prevent the retaining screw from damaging the heat-shrink tubing.

80m ARDF Receiver Skin
Robert Enochs designed this grip/cover to slip onto a typical European-style 80-meter ARDF receiver. It features a “finger fence” that prevents the user from accidentally bumping the frequency knob. And it has a pencil holder on the back for securely attaching a grease pencil (or two) for use in drawing bearings.
